Our History
In a small shop in Rafael Terol street in Alicante, Confitería La Murciana, S.L. has evolved to become a pillar of Alicante's confectionery.
Founded in 1963
From our humble beginnings with a counter and a simple bakery, we have grown thanks to the effort and dedication of our founders, Santos Baños Izquierdo and María Josefa Llofríu Ronda. In 1975, due to growing demand, we moved our workshop to San Vicente del Raspeig, where we have expanded and modernised our facilities with the latest technology and rigorous quality controls. Over the years, we have opened several shops, including premises in Playa de San Juan and the centre of Alicante, making us a point of reference for residents and visitors alike.
